I am an Assistant Professor of Political Communication in the Manship School of Mass Communication at Louisiana State University. My main research interests are two-folded: (1) how digital infrastructure influences political behaviors within the U.S. context; (2) how digital/social media facilitates the formation and dissemination of public opinion. I am interested in combining computational methods and social (media) data, to advance our understanding on the relationship between ICT and democracy, to promote public participation in democracies, and to foster a more informed, just, and equitable democratic society, along with the revolution of communication technology and digital trace data. In my spare time, I am also a hip-hop beat-maker and producer.
